It seems I should switch immediatelly to another cellphone.
Strange, this one calls me at 3.00 am. Ok, joke, another day in the air ahead, up and on the way in a minute or so!.
The road is calm, P0 is open and OLCI seat selection is done in advance.
There are just the papers for the collection to pick up now. What works again well with the SSK´s.
Not that long to wait at security for a view to the screen without any bad news.
A detour for the lounge, short but worth it and down for the gates, 162, where they, surprise, this happened definitely never ever before to me, board the last pax!


This ride is for sure something special with the main reason to fly on Augsburg Airways.
Ok, to see a new airport on the visited airports map suits well, too.
It´s an LH mileage ticket. The fare is 7500 Miles and 60.00 Euro´s taxes, fees or who knows what else!.
Augsburg Airways operated it´s planes for other airlines with Lufthansa as the most important client.
And this contract expires with the end of the summer timetable.
Reason enough for the owners to shut the company down.
So we see D-ADHS here, no individual name to notice, but yes, it´s Augsburg Airways and also the Dash 8-400 like on schedule.
Leg no. 38 on type and new to the log.
In service with SAS since 26.06.2001, some time with Royal Jordanian Airlines in between and finally Augsburg Airways.

Cockpit crew might be from somewhere else, no message at all from upfront. No route or flightlevel info.
06.05 am, as ontime as ever possible, 30 minutes by "AugsburgAir". Leaving the "Flughafen Stuttgart" from runway "Two-Five". The sky is cloudy and the temperature is 14 degrees.
Cabin crew is two female FA´s, one elder and ok the other one younger and really nice, large, long red hair, really nice. Did I already say that?.
And also the dark cabin with the service this morning, together with free drinks


The load is 60 %, close to biz looking pax only.

Dark grey leather seats and the cabin is clean so far.
Legroom is ok here and soon thereafter arrived at the "Flughafen München Franz-Josef Strauss".
The 4000 meters "Two-Six-Right" it is, 06.50 am, short ahead to schedule with 14 cloudy and wet degrees
