#CANADA #Jazz #Edmonton #Dash8-300

This story is dedicated to the nice young woman working at Comox airport, really good service here

The trip in one word:

OUTLOOKS

"There are three more flights to go today, for a place I´ve never heard before prior to the planning of this trip".

Hello, dear readers,

there is just a little bit more flying on schedule for today:

We spend the night once more close to the airport,
but at another hotel this time, the Executive Royal Inn Leduc-Nisku.
Where breakfast is prepared for us

And short thereafter we´ve done the nowadays well known procedure to catch the free van for the airport.

No OLCI, not to my greatest pleasure and also the SSK´s  decided finally that there is no job to do for us this late morning. The classic counter queue it is, well three papers  printed after a couple of minutes in line.
Leaving the bags also this way.
No remarks for the flight, should we believe it after yesterdays First Air experience?.
Let´s go for a closer view around. Central Mountain Air sounds interesting, isn´t it?

 photo CDN1301537_zpse03ded42.jpg
Not that much action here in this part of the terminal and heavy black thunderstorm clouds out there
 photo CDN1301538_zps3aff0a7c.jpg
 photo CDN1301539_zps7575f774.jpg
It looks like much nicer this way

 photo CDN1301541_zpsd6e6e9af.jpg
Security isn´t again really busy this morning, at least at the priority entrance!. Ready to have a view for the Maple Leaf Lounge

 photo CDN1301542_zps79843943.jpg
And well, also for these parked planes out on the apron

The ticket is fixed with Air Canada directly.
6 legs on one confirmation, the fare per leg is 50.00 Euro´s.
There is a Dash 8-300 on schedule and one more with the classic engines in the distance. Nolinor hauling some cargo up the north

 photo CDN1301548_zpsa7d70271.jpg
There is some space left here for a couple more flights like this one from gate 49E
 photo CDN1301549_zpsf95801e2.jpg
 photo CDN1301550_zps4df71b05.jpg
Well, that´s the view I like with sunny apron boarding

 photo CDN1301553_zpsc60837cb.jpg
Jazz it is and the Dash 8-300 like on schedule.
C-GSTA is new to the log and leg no. 8 on type.
No individual name here once again

12.55 am, what is short ahead to schedule, 35 minutes by
"Jazz" right now.
Leaving the "Edmonton International Airport" from the
3351 meters runway "Zero-Two".
It´s sunny with 23 degrees.
Cockpit crew is from Canada, no comment at all, no route info, but flightlevel is just 15000 feet only.
The oldfashioned seaters at 11D/F and the undercarriage.
This is also an oldie bird, in the air since 25.11.1989 with Time Air, Canadian Regional Airlines, Air Canada Regional and Jazz. 28 planes on type are in the fleet.
And C-GSTA is also not unknown here:

Classic seaters and the actual magazine
 photo CDN1301560_zps675de7db.jpg
 photo CDN1301561_zpsf74523fc.jpg
Legroom is ok with the dark blue, really well used leather seats and the weather looks like nice this way

 photo CDN1301563_zpsba6f5563.jpg

 photo CDN1301569_zps7a0b3647.jpg
Gear down and further to touchdown at the 3863 meters "One-Seven-Right". 1.45 pm, pretty well ontime and 23 partly cloudy degrees
 photo CDN1301570_zpsfd969140.jpg
 photo CDN1301572_zps72de9317.jpg
