Gate F06 it is, leaving the "Flughafen Wien-Schwechat" at 9.20 pm by "Germanwings", 25 weather related minutes late till now. Zero degrees and yes, snow showers like along the whole day.
1.00 hours to go from "Two-Nine-Right" for the second time today not only a long, long wait in the plane and at the deicing station, but wait boarding first.
Relaxed it is again.
Maybe good for some time under the wing, you know?
This is the A319 like on schedule, D-AKNK, no individual name to see.
Leg no. 100 on type, don´t noticed this kind of jubilee in advance. And this machine saw me on MAD-STR and STR-BCN twice

Always these Austrians prevent me from boarding!
Cabin crew is one younger ok male FA and two women, both younger, one with short black hair, ok, the other one blonde, ponytail, cute, smiling, well, believe it or not, really nice!. Service is BOB.
Dark grey leather seats are here, clean so far, but not that
impressive legroom.
The load is 70%, biz, leisure and some unidentified others well mixed.

25D it is for me, the last row aisle, the window is taken and the middle seat is open.
Cockpit crew is from Germany, the "Pilot" with a detailed welcome on the ground and once again during approach later on. No route or flightlevel info
It´s a nightflight and I decide to do what you should do during a night!. Till someone told me, prepare the cabin for arrivals, ok, will do so!.
Touchdown at the "Flughafen Stuttgart", runway "Two-Five". 2 degrees, clear sky, 10.45 pm, 30 minutes late.
Back at the homebase finally for 2013.
The car is where it should be, fresh and fit, ok that´s not difficult after spending the whole day in the dreamland of cars not like me on the road, ahem in the air, ahem on a plane, ahem on a train, ahem on a subway and wherever else!.
Here are the conclusions:
1.)Germanwings STR-VIE: Calm and quiet one more time for Austria.
2.)Welcome Air VIE-LNZ: Special airline, special aircraft.
3.)Germanwings VIE-STR: A nightly ride for the homebase.
And now?. Ok, 2014 is coming up soon and the very first flight is closer than ever before on very special and unique equipment. And yeah, it works this time:
