Some meters to walk again for these nice sunny scenery here

The terminal part with the gates for the regional aircraft,
19 for us

Ah, this one looks like good, isn´t it?

There is a B1900D on schedule and this one fit´s perfectly right.
C-FCMO, no names here again, new to the log and just leg no. 3 on type.
The first flight is registered at 12.08.1997 with Central Mountain Air and also Northern Thunderbird Air.
13 planes are in the fleet actually and here is a story to tell, too:
http://avherald.com/h?article=4238eb54&opt=0
There is also a restroom or whatever you call it available on the Beech and for some fresh air to go this way

4.50 pm, perfectly ontime, "Glacier" and 20 minutes to go right now.
Departure from "Vancouver International Airport´s" 3505 meters runway "Two-Six-Left" with 21 sunny degrees.
There is no FA on this service.
Cockpit crew is from Canada with a short welcome from the captain on the ground.
The FO welcomed us also at the planes door in a nice style with the safety instructions.
No service, no route, no flightlevel info here.
Hawkair closeby and the cabin for the first time
with the dark blue really well used leather seats.
9A/B and free seating is the way to go here

Taxi and ready to leave

Wait, let me out, this is my Cargojet!

No one like´s to hear me!.
A full cabin, but anyway it works

The sun is also out for us

Marvellous views just after leaving Vancouver

Northern routes, well, that fit´s

The safety card and the legroom is ok

Cabin details on the way

And the fully loaded cabin again, 100%, no open seat to spot

Details on approach for Comox

Coming in somewhat lower

How I like these views

And low level cruising

Not that far from our final target today

One or two beaches per house, sure ok here

The seats en detail close to arrivals

Wheels down for the "Comox Valley Airport" also home of the Royal Canadian Air Force 19 Wing Comox

And touchdown at the 3048 meters runway "Three-Zero"

5.20 pm, ten minutes ahead to schedule and 21 sunny degrees.
Now this one looks like also interesting!

Well, we need some time Tripreporter style on the apron and there is this young woman out there serving the flight.
That´s for sure ok, take you´re time and soon thereafter we had a really nice chat about Comox airport and our intension to come here, just for the night by the way!

Some more pics to do this way

Yes, target reached!

We had some more time to talk in the terminal and finally she decided that it is to long to wait for the public bus service and called a reliable local taxi guy to shuttle us for the Best Western Plus The Westerly Hotel & Convention Centre at a good fare, well done

Just a bit oldfashioned but comfy anyway

After a warm welcomed dinner at, ahem, the golden M and some shopping at the local superstore it is time to call it a night, what works also well here.
Someone for the conclusions?:
1.)Jazz Air Edmonton-Calgary: Just a few bumps for the "Beach at the meadow".
2.)Air Canada Calgary-Vancouver: A comfy ride to British Columbia.
3.)Central Mountain Air Vancouver-Comox: And a superb welcome to Victoria Island.
Stay tuned, more to come, hopefully, soon.
