And welcome to the short one twice, the flight and the plane!.
This is the second part of the aforementioned Exp.de ticket,
the fare again 65.00 Euro´s.
A swift view for the Star Lounge, slightly less crowded than the last time but anyway nothing special and onwards for the flight.
Here we see at gate A26 D-ABIB, "Esslingen", the name and the direction to fly suits well!.
A classic 737-500, leg no. 37 on type and new to the log.
Since 18.12.1990 around with mainly LH and a short lease out to Smartwings in between.
16 examples are in the fleet and also here, there are no stories to show
 photo SRB1301114_zpseaf10994.jpg
 photo SRB1301116_zps6999ea8b.jpg
Cabin crew is two male FA´s, one young and nice, the other one middle aged and ok, together with a senior woman, nice. Cockpit crew sounds according to the names showed by the purser from Germany, but not a single word to hear from upfront at all. Also no service on this leg.
Don´t talk about any route or flightlevel info.
Just to confirm
 photo SRB1301122_zps5b9ee325.jpg
 photo SRB1301125_zpse0a0665c.jpg
9.45 pm, ten minutes ahead to schedule, 30 minutes by "Lufthansa" again and departure from the 4000 meters runway "One-Eight", in theory!.
And this is a strange one and also one to show me how important it is to use the seatbelt.
It seems the pilots have the closing time in view. A fast taxi and turn on the runway, stopped for some seconds only till the engines spooled up and we are on the way.
No, not really, heavy breaking action and we stopped again a good couple of meters down the runway.
Some five minutes more in this position without any comment till the engines spooled up again and we departed successful this time.
The legroom is good here with the new style, clean dark grey leather seats.
The load is 80%. 10E, the exit row and two for me
 photo SRB1301126_zpse42d70e7.jpg
 photo SRB1301128_zps3159e208.jpg
Not that I´ve talked about it before, this one is not here to confirm the plane type and the actual magazine
 photo SRB1301130_zps9661b1ab.jpg
 photo SRB1301131_zps6f164a07.jpg
Touchdown at "Two-Five", 10.30 pm, short ahead to schedule.
The seats and bye now at the homebase
 photo SRB1301133_zps0274f0dc.jpg
 photo SRB1301136_zpsa6c85189.jpg
The place to have a rest now, at least for D-ABIB!
 photo SRB1301137_zps22149354.jpg

Well, also today, here are the conclusions:

1.)JAT STR-BEG: My personal tribute to the JAT part 1 done.
2.)JAT BEG-VIE: Is it JAT or Alitalia?. Anyway tribute part 2 completed.
3.)Lufthansa VIE-FRA: Comfy so far on the A321.
4.)Lufthansa FRA-STR: A shorty nightride for the homebase.

By the way, leg no. 4 today is also recorded as leg no. 998 at all.
So it seems there is a kind of jubilee coming up sometimes in the far future!.
And now, just for the case, if there is someone waiting for this question!.
And now?. Yes, exactly this one!.
There is such an terrible experience coming up.
Imagine, I´am so anxious, I´ve booked and they confirmed an up-to-date, top notch, safe and reliable plane with two engines like the A321 and what´s waiting on the apron?. Something scary with four engines. Should I really fly or maybe better protesting?.
Talking about the apron.
Imagine, me together with 1000 other pax in one bus, driving the long, long way around till the very last corner.
It feels so dangerous to walk close to under an engine or maybe even under the wing when you try to board the plane in the much to bright sun under this much to blue sky. Never again.
Imagine, I´ve read about, that exactly this type of plane needs a 10000 meters runway, much more than on offer here and it´s so slow in the air.
That´s so hazardous.
And to board this plane you should climb up a thousand of step´s till you finally, finally reach the plane.
And imagine, they don´t even show me the way to my seat, no, they told me to sit where I like with hundred so it seems seats open for me.
This is so hard to decide, I need an hour or so finally and no one helps me!.
Isn´t this the worst experience ever?.
Ahem, I´am still searching for the out-of-irony button here on this keyboard and I´am still searching, searching............

Zbogom za sada, take care.

Well, go to gate F16 shows me the way, isn´t it?.
And no time to use a lounge here again
 photo SRB1301100_zps384598ae.jpg
 photo SRB1301101_zps88b7f9b4.jpg
7.20 pm, also ontime by "Lufthansa",
leaving the "Flughafen Wien-Schwechat" again.
Departure from the 3500 meters "Two-Nine" and just 55 minutes to fly with 11 cloudy degrees.
Exp.de helps to fix this ticket, three legs on one confirmation and the fare with this leg is 65.00 Euro´s.
And here we see the scheduled A321, D-AISZ, no individual name, really?.
Leg no. 24 on type and new to the log it is.
In service with LH since 04.11.2009, 62 examples are in the fleet and there are no stories to show

 photo SRB1301103_zps19380b48.jpg
Cockpit crew is from Germany.
The "Pilot" with a nice welcome in an experienced style after boarding and once again later short ahead to approach.
No route or flightlevel info.
The load is 90%, a lot of biz like looking pax around.
It seems the VFR people have other preferences today!.
37D for me, the window is taken and the middle seat remains open, ok so far.
Legroom is also ok here with the clean cabin and the new style dark grey leather seats.
And this is the safety card
 photo SRB1301104_zps38af3cba.jpg
 photo SRB1301105_zpseabf337b.jpg
Cabin crew is all female this evening.
One elder with an somewhat tough style, but anyway nice,
one elder blonde, nice,
one young and cute, nice
and one elder, nice.
If there is a chance to speak to someone at LH about the catering, I should do it.
This is at least, if not more, as disgusting as during the last flights.
And don´t get me wrong, as far as it looks like around my seat, I´am not the only one with this opinion.
Meat loaf, no way, never ever
 photo SRB1301106_zps376ff0aa.jpg
 photo SRB1301107_zpseddbe0b4.jpg
And soon thereafter we are at the "Flughafen Frankfurt am Main"
 photo SRB1301108_zps28c3a7ec.jpg
 photo SRB1301109_zps7390eea3.jpg
Touchdown at the 4000 meters "Two-Five-Left". 8.30 pm,
20 minutes ahead to schedule.
Bye now for the meat loaf transport
 photo SRB1301110_zpsf8ce5095.jpg

One more leg to go on more classic equipment, hopefully!

Well, this is 2014!:

Let´s go for a break in the old terminal. For sure an interesting place with well, contrasts to say the least.
Web-Check-In or what about your weight?
 photo SRB1301060_zps03832c4c.jpg
 photo SRB1301061_zps82c53c30.jpg
Sorry, but I have no idea about the home airline here!
 photo SRB1301062_zps512dc995.jpg
 photo SRB1301063_zps253b778a.jpg
No, absolutely no way that this reminds me about some long gone times of flying Russian airliners, DC9´s or 10´s!
 photo SRB1301064_zps5a38b5c9.jpg
 photo SRB1301066_zps90b870dc.jpg
This is the second part on the Opodo confirmation, the fare 65.00 Euro´s. No lounge here on offer for me.
No time to wait at passport check and just for the case, go to gate, but not to Montenegro this time
 photo SRB1301067_zpsc4512802.jpg
 photo SRB1301068_zps4f499e0a.jpg
No, the three dots for me, please
 photo SRB1301069_zpsef707492.jpg
 photo SRB1301070_zps8d24e095.jpg
Yes, that´s the one to go or is it Alitalia?.
Or maybe a mix with the best parts of both worlds?
 photo SRB1301071_zps06e1b7c4.jpg
 photo SRB1301072_zpse8f94223.jpg
A9 and well, it´s the security at the gate system.
Just a couple of pax here, no time to wait and ok.
Who needs a theater when there is an airport around?.
I don´t really remember such a show.
A couple at the check with no other pax in line. He, age 50 maybe, biker style, leather jacket, long hair, tied into a ponytail.
She, 40 maybe, well built to say the least, long, superlong boots, the jeans as tight as ever possible. A short black leather jacket and a close to nothing top below.
And she performed it really like a show, needs some minutes to take off her boots and some more time for the jacket.
Even the young guy at the check decides to take a seat to watch the show not to talk about the young serbian woman beside.
Finally she´s ok and the same session again while she takes her boots and jacket.
Don´t get me wrong, when I see her closer later in the gate area I´am not really sure if this is a real she, also from the behaviour at all it looks much more like a former he, or maybe a mix of both worlds, who knows!.
Nevertheless boarding is on the way
 photo SRB1301073_zps8381a11d.jpg
 photo SRB1301074_zps869aab88.jpg
 photo SRB1301075_zps4198ccd6.jpg
This is YU-ALU, another one without an individual name.
And this is really an interesting plane.
It´s an ATR 72-200, despite the tail rudder shows 72-500.
And this tail rudder is also clearly to notice in Alitalia colours. And we know that AZ not had any 72-500´s beside this one:
http://avherald.com/h?article=45d25cc2&opt=0
It seems yes, we know where these tail rudder is coming from!.
Anyway it´s a new entry to the log and leg no. 29 on type.
First in service from 01.12.1997 with American Eagle, later with JAT and nowadays with Air Serbia.
There are no stories to show.
4.50 pm, good to know ontime again by "JAT" with a somewhat tight connection later on. 1.20 hours leaving the "Aerodrom Beograd - Nikola Tesla" ex runway "One-Two" like arrivals.
22 degrees and just a few clouds around.
And up for a view from above to Belgrade
 photo SRB1301076_zpsf4c3a03c.jpg
 photo SRB1301077_zpsaf7666d7.jpg
Sure an interesting place
 photo SRB1301078_zps69fdedb6.jpg
 photo SRB1301079_zps4e705070.jpg
And the cabin en detail.
Mixed blue purple fabric seats and really in better conditions than the 733
 photo SRB1301080_zps0dfae6fd.jpg
 photo SRB1301081_zps7e10f01d.jpg
The load is 70%. Serbian and Austrian pax well mixed so it looks like and interesting to notice a good number of people with Olympic style boarding papers.
Legroom is low here at 16A, but two for me helps definitely
 photo SRB1301082_zps55439aee.jpg
 photo SRB1301083_zps160def1a.jpg
Cabin crew is all senior again. One nice female, one ok male FA and there is also a well experienced style technician on board. Well, you never know!.
Just to confirm the type
 photo SRB1301084_zps38723b8f.jpg
 photo SRB1301085_zpsa358e424.jpg
Cockpit crew is from, don´t know, no name and no comment at all to notice. No route info, flightlevel is 20000 feet according to the female FA.
Service JAT style. Remember the inbound sandwich, it´s the 14th today and this one shows me the 16th, well so far with the production date!
 photo SRB1301086_zps4455bcfc.jpg
 photo SRB1301087_zps69ec4caf.jpg
Some more cabin details
 photo SRB1301088_zpsfe18a4e1.jpg

Close to the "Flughafen Wien-Schwechat"
 photo SRB1301090_zps96958191.jpg
 photo SRB1301091_zps5525139c.jpg
Touchdown at the 3600 meters "One-Six". 6.10 pm, 15 minutes ahead to schedule at 11 cloudy degrees.
Bye now to this multi labeled plane and also to
JAT Jugoslovenski Aerotransport
