Hey, dear readers,
we are on the way for Canada.
Just arrived from the "Aéroport Bâle-Mulhouse-Fribourg"
and for a short connection heading this way:
Thanx to, as usual:

Just a minute at passport and another one at the next security check.
"A l´heure" ok, hurry for the lounge now
And this is for sure a good place to spend some time at CDG
Ok, let´s go for a view around gate M45
There is one of these magic triple seven´s on schedule
and so it looks like.
F-GSPN, a 777-200, name´s please, Air France!.
Easy to check with just 4 leg´s on type, a new entry to the log
And it looks like also good from the other side.
In the air with AF since 15.12.2000, 25 planes on type are in the fleet and there are no stories to share here
Boarding started pretty early and there are not many pax anymore around after this picture session. So, let´s go for the last row, or not?
Yes, it is and confirmed, also the plane like on schedule
2.00 pm, close to ontime, 7.40 hours made by "Airfrance" right now.
Leaving the "Aéroport Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle" from the
4200 meters "Two-Seven-Left".
Superb sunny, 26 degrees, no clouds to spot at all.
Cockpit crew is from France.
"Le capitaine" with a nice short welcome during boarding
and once again later short prior to descent with arrivals and the actual weather details.
Legroom is not that impressive here, but the cabin looks like modern.
48A/B, the last row two seater with the not that really clean dark blue fabric seats.
There are some stains on the seat good to notice
The load is 100%, no open seat to see. VFR travellers and a large, always giggling teenie school group on the way.
Routing is Amiens-London-Manchester-Isle of Man-Goose Bay at 34000 and later 38000 feet.
IFE, sorry, my IFE!
Two elder and nice male FA´s serving our seats.
Is there something to eat and drink on offer?.
Yes, it is!
Just a couple of clouds down there till this tray arrived
Or maybe also this one?.
Chicken with mustard sauce, carrots, mashed potatoes and broccoli
Delicious or not?.
Multigrain risotto with Parmesan cheese and grilled tomato.
Anyway I´ve decided to go for a dreamland visit, what is not possible everyday above the North Atlantic!
Canada reached
And something more to eat and drink short to arrival at the
"Toronto Pearson International Airport"
Touchdown at the 3389 meters runway "Two-Three".
It is 10.00 pm now in Germany and 4.00 pm in Canada, what is also short ahead to schedule.
The sky is partly cloudy with 24 degrees and
these magic three engines parked closeby.
This is also something for me again, definitely!
Bye now for our plane
Not that long to wait for immigrations, where the young woman asked me, I´ve read about it, but don´t want to believe it really, for a permission about my travel companions visit to Canada.
She like to see his certificate of birth, exactly what the nice woman at the Canadian consulate in Stuttgart told me, when I was in contact about it.
Really good that we are prepared this way, but this is also good for some hassles when you don´t know about these rule.
Ok, finally in Canada, ready to catch the bags!.
Till the next part of the story.
Bye-bye, the TRIPREPORTER.
