Where the smokers are heading for the shelter
The Broomfield terminal, beside the main terminal is besieged by oil rig workers enjoying the last sunny break prior heading for the next shift.
And they are everywhere, lying in the grass, sitting on the ground. Interesting to follow to say the least.
I should collect some papers here and yes, the SSK helps!
An impressive board it is, also with the huge number of service to the oil fields.
And there is a lounge to visit here
Leg 3 and 4 today are also on one confirmation.
5000 Flyingblue miles, 25.00 Euro´s taxes and fees are due for this leg.
A nicely decorated terminal it is and this tail looks like fitting
Well, yes, let´s go for the HOP! from gate 1
This is F-HBXM, new to the log and just leg. no 8 on the scheduled E70.
No individual names here.
15 planes on type are in the fleet and this is a former
AZ Express example. In the air since 20.05.2004 and there are no stories to show
Cockpit crew is from France. The "Pilote" with a short welcome during boarding and short again during approach.
No route or flightlevel info.
11.50 am, call it ontime, "Regional Europe" on the way, no duration info to notice.
Just a couple more planes around till departures from the 1949 meters runway "One-Six".
22 degrees, sunny, no clouds, simply superb.
LCY style, full power and up we go leaving the
"Port-adhair Obar Dheathain Aberdeen/Dyce Airport"
Cabin crew is two female FA´s. Both elder, one large and nice. The other, well, biz friendly at it´s best!.
Atlantic Airways and the heli on the run
This way
And we, too above the nice scottish landscape
This is a 100% load. No open seat to spot, all types of travellers well mixed. 18F for me and the aisle is also taken.
The safetycard just to confirm the plane type
The modern style clean cabin fitted with blue leather seats and the acceptable legroom
Service "En francais"
Touchdown at the 2700 meters "Zero-Eight-Right" and welcome to the "Aéroport Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle". 2.40 pm, ten minutes ahead to schedule. 21 sunny degrees, also here perfect weather conditions.
And bye now at Terminal 2G
Terminal 2G?. The place for the regional flights far away from the other terminals. Immigration, security and else.
1.15 hours scheduled connection time sounds enough, isn´t it?. Well, we will see!.
Take care.
