I´am, no sorry, we are, on the road again,
just a couple of days after the return from Spain.

These overcorrect machine named cellphone doesn´t switch it´s alarm status to another time. Not a single minute earlier, no minute later, no, it calls me at 03.00 am.
Ok, not that I´am involved to switch on the alarm mode!.
A ride through the black forest and BSL/MLH airport it is.
F3, where I usually check the very first row to park the car and where I see one lonely human walking down in direction for the terminal.
Coincidence or not, someone controls our steps, a warm welcome to H., my travel companion for the day.
Yes, this is BSL/MLH airport where some trips started also this way lately, but no plane to catch right now.
And we are on the non standard track again. A full bus on arrival from the city and an close to empty one leaving the airport with us. 4.20 CHF is the fare this way.
Basel SBB it is, where so it looks like, the guys have just a little bit to much from the delicious red when they placed the "E" here

20.00 Euro´s is the fare with the first part of the journey on the TGV.
No, this is not oldfashioned, never ever.
Marseille, well, we will see!

But wait, there is a not to talk to loud about it catering place in the station.
I like to see "Sutter" in Germany, too!

Well, no Marseille today, but Lausanne sounds also not that really on the direct track from BSL.
Ok, we are usually not on the direct track!.
The second part of the ticket is 8.30 Euro´s and this is on the TGV, too

Well, after just a couple of detours and diversions we are back at the main train station ready to go for the airport.
There is no public transport at all and the nevertheless nice taxista lady waiting refused to go. She is preordered.
And we are not. It seems the locals know the way better to deal with the transport options here.
And it seems also, the airport is not the best place to make money for the taxistas.
Another one is arriving and the elder guy asked twice or thrice, if we really like to go for the "Aéroport de Dole - Jura".
Sure, really that´s our place to go right now.
He also likes to prearrange the fare, just to ask again, really?.
Well, really, we should go now!.

This is the only airport with scheduled service in the Franche-Comte region.
A huge terminal, massive operations and a thousand of planes on the apron!.
And this is a nice place to take a rest in the sun, isn´t it?.
As long as there are no ant´s to occupy the benches and the sun really shine´s!

There is no OLCI available and the ticket is secured via the IGAviation website. The fare is 70.00 Euro´s.
It´s a virtual company without own aircraft.
And well, who needs OLCI when there is simply no one else around beside the woman at the desk and the two of us!

Yes, this is SP-MRB, the scheduled Saab 340A and one of the very few planes without an individual name!.

An oldie it is, in the air since 04.09.1987 registered in Sweden with Salair and Skyways Airlines. For the UK with Business Air and British Midland Airways.
Austria is next at Bachflug, Teamline Air, Grossmann Air Service, Teamline Air again and Fairlines till Sky Taxi Polska.
Three planes are in the fleet and this is the oldest example.

I´am impressed about the number of staff around.
It seems there are more employees here to serve our flight than pax at all.
No gate numbers and do not talk about a lounge.
Self service boarding soon thereafter for the right hand side. If you feel like human cargo, in that case it´s correct to board the Miniliner Fokker 27 Friendship, all the others should turn left!.

A nice welcome from the younger polish blonde FA at the planes door earlier. Really nice by the way and she sends us to row 07, F for me and well, this is one of the very few flights where I don´t noticed it in advance that I´am in the exit row, till she told us the usual story.
She speaks perfectly french, all the announcements in a professional style.
Legroom is good here and I prefer the, for sure just for me, informations also in german

The cabin style, fitted with dark blue leather seats, is well, oldfashioned and the wing view

Cockpit crew is from Poland, the "Kapitan" with detailed informations in english only and nice inflight.
