A good morning from Athens, these marvellous city in Greece. Just for a view out of the window and this thing up the hill looks like also interesting during daylight!


Not only the city is marvellous, also the food. No way to go without a healthy breakfast, especially not in Greece!


Well, that´s me and just for the
unlikely case that there is nothing suitable on the buffet, there is the market just at the door


The offers are limited here, certainly, no question!

Well, with the urgent deliveries in my memory and just by coincidence, these papers at the subway ticket desk yesterday showing some strike action.
Might be better to go back for the hotel, a nice chat again with a young woman, OA employee till late last year and swiftly onwards for Monastiraki station.
Lucky me, definitely lucky me, this is the last one running till the airport prior to a meeting with all the sub staff involved and therefore no more active trains


Done!. Just to catch a paper at the airport. The last row window is secured with the ticket fixed by Tripsta and the fare is 75.00 Euro´s. Seats are OLCI selected 48 hours in advance.
Now I know that the Star Lounge is prior to security. Never do the same mistake again, at least I hope so

Ok, finally boarded!.
Cockpit crew is from Greece, the "Kapetanios" with a nice, somewhat stressed welcome during boarding and once again short during approach. Routing is via Chalkidiki and Skiathos at 22000 feet maximum


Cabin crew is five women, one middle aged, not that large with a nice welcome at the planes door.
One brown hair, ponytail, one black hair, large, slim, one blonde, ok and one more with longer black hair, also large and slim.
Up we go with nice views around


And also for the cabin.
The load is 100%, the flight continues for DUS, never been there, sure, definitely, with mostly greek pax today.
No last row joy, all seats are
taken also here


The cabin is fitted with dark blue grey leather seats, well used to say the least and lower legroom than on the A321.
