A leisurely late departure it is, what means up at 05.15 am. Riding down with the office crowd for "Flughafen Stuttgart´s" P0.
The car knows the way and me, too, at least I hope so!.
Checking the screen first, isn´t it?.
My machine is inbound a couple of minutes early and outbound looks like ok from gate 316, too


No lounge used here.
Well, I´am sure, I´am really sure to see something new today, an equipment change, maybe a wetleased plane and if not at least a new registration!.
Opodo ensures the ticket details, 30.00 Euro´s is the fare with the one way booking.
My seat is OLCI selected by the mobile app, it works and the paper is printed here at the airport at the SSK´s. Cost saving, isn´t it?.

Now I should write a letter of complaint to this company.

Ok, this is the A319 like on schedule, but why oh why exactly this machine. Delta-Alpha-Bravo-Golf-Kilo carries no indivudal name, it´s leg no. 106 on type and no, just by surprise, this is nothing new to the log.
Done on TXL-STR and STR-DUS twice before during the last three weeks.
In the air and around with airberlin and Niki since 03.04.2008.
7 examples are in the fleet and there are no stories to show here


09.50 am, 10 minutes ahead to schedule, "airberlin", 45 minutes and departure from "Two-Five".
Just the 1 positive degree, wet it is  after snow.
Cockpit crew is from Germany, the "Pilot" with a detailed welcome during boarding. The crew is introduced by name.
No route or flightlevel details.
Up we go and as usual, Tripreporter style, in the completely wrong direction!


Cabin crew is all female, one asian middle aged ok, one younger, biz at it´s best and one middle aged, black hair, ok
24A and three for me.
The load is just 50% and the ramper  confirmed, the flight is close to everyday inbound fully loaded and sometimes see also the A320.
A group of carnival style dressed women is on the plane, loud and obviously well prepared for the
"Weiberfasnacht" in Dusseldorf!.
Blue grey leather seats, clean it is and the legroom is ok.
Not to talk about the man with the hat!


So far so good with AB, give me a "Rosinenbrötchen" every day, ok, some free drinks maybe, too

Touchdown at "Dusseldorf Airport", runway "Two-Three-Left", 3000 meters at 10.45 am, 20 minutes ahead to schedule and 6 partly cloudy degrees.
And once again, I´am the only one for a connection and much better, not for an AB connection. But the bus driver take´s it the cool way!.
