It´s for sure a long time ago since I saw the 5 am the last time on the departure screen, oh yes.
But certain very important circumstances forced me to do it this way today!.
Interesting to notice the very first departure on the screen delayed, not the first time, the poor Pristina people
But wait, was there anything else to do before?.
The cellphone calls me, yes it works, today at 04.00 am,
P0 it is for the car to go in sleep mode again!.
Simply nothing to do at the airport with the OLCI homeprinted boardingpass for the first leg in hand.
Don´t forget, 72 hours prior to departure with this airline.
The ticket is fixed with Germanwings itself, the fare for this leg is 65.00 Euro´s.
T1 security it is with just a couple of minutes to wait, much better than the other terminals. No time to use the lounge today, down for the gates. 324 in the end and the bus to ride around the dark apron.
So here we see D-AGWV, just the one without an individual name, sure and the A319 like on schedule. Leg no. 99 on type and is it something new?. It is!
In the air and around with 4U since 15.02.2013 and one of 41 in the fleet. There are no stories to show here
07.10 am is finally the time to leave the "Flughafen Stuttgart" what is short after schedule by "Germanwings", 55 minutes to go. Departure from runway "Two-Five" at zero degrees and some hoarfrost. Good to know the plane is deiced earlier on stand.
The german "Kapitän" with a short welcome in an relaxed style after the boarding completed message. No route or flightlevel info.
Boarding now and what about the legroom with the dark grey leather seats?. Acceptable it is and clean so far at 25C, the second to last row, the window is taken and the middle seat remains open
Cabin crew is one middle aged nice male FA
and two young women, one cute, brown hair, nice
the other one large, well built, black hair, with a really nice welcome at the planes door, well, really nice!.
There is also a safety card ready and the magazine fits
December deals for the well loaded cabin. 80%, mostly biz looking like travellers this early morning. Service is BOB
Is this really the "Flughafen Wien-Schwechat"?.
Touchdown at the 3500 meters "One-One-Left", fog, nothing to see, absolutely nothing till close to the runway. Zero degrees and wet it is. 08.15 am, what is short after schedule
