What to do now in VIE till departure for LNZ?.
There is an later OS service also on offer, but with a very short connection time for this one.
Well, it´s December and it seems better to have more time in between, isn´t it?. Finally the point to go on the earlier Germanwings service.
Or is there also another reason?.
No, no way, certainly not!.
Sometimes, well, just on very, very few occasions there are people around on the same track and so it seems I should go for the upper level, no extra security needed by the way, prior to the lounge entrances with a good view to the apron.
Where I see somewhat later some well known colours, but definitely not the expected colours, coming in
Well, a good time later and just by coincidence there is someone climbing up the escalator, absolutely not expected, to calm down the boring OS Star lounge time, you know, it´s not interesting and certainly not
relaxing to have a comfy chair close to the window, apron view, a cup of tea or two and some cake and cookies this time of the day. No, you need good company to enjoy it!.
This ticket is fixed by Fly.de, the fare as a one way is just 50.00 Euro´s.
OLCI works and my mobile boarding pass is stored on the well, mobile!.

For the very same plane like I´ve noticed earlier on the apron and very far back in my mind there is a dejavu coming up.
This is OE-LKB, sure the D328 like on schedule, no individual name to notice.
But this is nothing new to me, the plane ist first in service from 27.10.1995 with Air Engiadina, later for KLM Alps, Swisswings and KLM Alps again. I´ve done it in Italy on an AZ POS service operated by Air Alps Aviation QSR-MXP some good time ago till it joined Welcome Air.

Ok, we are flying domestic in Austria, sure we need italian explanations, but sure we also know all about it!
1.10 pm it is, "Welcomeair" leaving the "Flughafen Wien-Schwechat" some 20 minutes late for 30 minutes in the air ex "Two-Nine-Right". 3500 meters is well enough for the Dornier!. Zero degrees and snow showers all along the day.
Up for the cloudy sky
Cabin crew is a really nice young Austrian woman,
"Heidi" style, cute and middle long black hair.
Service is water for free.
Dark blue fabric seats, retro style and clean.
The load is 80% well mixed.
Legroom at 10F, the last row window is ok and the safety card confirmed the operator.
Cockpit crew is from Austria, the "Herr Kapitän" with a detailed welcome in an experienced style inflight.
No route info, flightlevel is 14000 feet only.
Dubai on Austrian, no way, absolutely no way,
after an not so plesant experience last year

18.00 Euro´s it is, via St.Pölten and Punkersdorf, ahem Purkersdorf, yes, I like these Austrian names and yes, I like Austria at all!.

Where Austrian efficiency protects me from a bus ride!. The scheduled direct service for the airport doesn´t show up also when it was on the screen.
The next one is scheduled some time later, well you never know, if this one or the next one or one at all is running?. It looks like better to go on the powerwalking track, no running, for the subway station closeby. Catch a swift ticket on the U3 for Wien-Mitte and ride the S7 for the airport what works after some hassles with the well signage, Austrian efficiency, you know. I´am sure the locals know the way perfectly!.
