So, here we are with certainly not the usual time to head for the airport.
An late afternoon departure it is and the road is just a little bit busy but not extraordinary at all.
The car knows the way well, P0 it is once again. OLCI works well, too, from 24 hours prior to departure.
Seat selected and there is just the useful paper to collect on the way at the SSK´s.
85.00 Euro´s is the fare this evening with the one and only leg on the confirmation managed by Opodo.de.
Inbound looks like ok and outbound, too. Gate 109 it is


A swift view for the Star lounge is possible, done.
A young, smiling woman, yes, that´s possible, at the passport check counter and well, I need definitely some "Mut" tonight with the upcoming itinerary!


This is TC-JSB, leg no. 26 on the A321 like on schedule and a new entry to the log.
In service with TK since 28.06.2012. 41 examples are in the fleet.

06.55 pm, as ontime as possible, "Turkish" for 2.40 hours from "Flughafen Stuttgart´s" runway "Zero-Seven".
There are 4 degrees on the negative side to notice and the sky is perfectly clear.
Cockpit crew is from Turkey, the "Kaptan" with a detailed welcome in an experienced style still on the ground.
And once again nice and detailed inflight short after departure.
Routing is MUC-Salzburg-Maribor-Osijek-Belgrade-Sofia at  35000 feet.

Sure ok this way and the safety card.
Dark grey leather seats, clean and not that impressive legroom


The aisle, 24D for me, the nice guy I am, ok it´s a flight in complete darkness on a well known route, helped a turkish family with a small kid to sit together in the last row.
The well, fully loaded cabin, close to 100%, no open seat to spot at all, mostly turkish citizens on the way.

Cabin crew is one younger, really motivated guy, another one, middle aged from the biz friendly party and three women.
One elder, biz friendly, too, one middle aged large and nice, long black hair and one young, cute, slim, black, middle long hair, not that large, really nice.

Well, you know, the middle part is not for me, also not today, but left and right hand side are for sure ok


Touchdown at "İstanbul Atatürk Havalimanı´s" 2580 meters runway "Zero-Five". 10.35 pm is ten minutes ahead to schedule at 14 cloudy degrees.
It seems I´am one of the very few pax with an onward connecting flight this night. The young guy at the security check is a first not that happy with my self printed boarding paper, but the scanner like´s it. So onward we go and I hope some "Mut" or better said courage from the first leg is with me!.
