Seats for my upcoming flight experience are selected immediatelly after booking via SU´s customer service center. The last row window, of course.
OLCI ex IST is not on the list, but nevertheless always worth a try, isn´t it?.
Ha, it works, but yuck, boo or all the things like this, the pleasure calms swiftly down when the OLCI seatmap shows up on my laptop screen and it doesn´t help to turn it in different directions. My original seat is gone and the seatmap shows also definitely not what I´am really looking for.
No, certainly no, I ilke to see a twin aisle plane and not the one with the single aisle only like here.
Well, it was my own and free decision to fix this way from Istanbul to Dubai via Moscow. Not that there are other interesting options out there during my time of booking. No, who needs really an Azal Azerbaijan Airlines B763/A345 combo?.
No one, definitely no one!.
Well, what should you do?. Somewhat paralyzed the last row is selected again and so I´am looking forward to a new airline, yeah, but better don´t talk about anything else!.

Nice offers and an interesting screen to say the least.
Ah, imagine two flights for Moscow at close to the same time and these well experienced russian travellers. Not that anyone takes notice about the different airlines, no way.
The gate staff is close to despairing.
Calling for missing pax on my Aeroflot service and trying hard to explain the Transaero people here, that this is not the right place to be.
And trust me, there are a good number who don´t like to believe it and start to complain with the staff that they like to go on this plane immediatelly.
And me?. Well, late boarding, the elder woman checked my passport somewhat hectic: "Do you need no visa for Russia?". "No, there is an onward flight, too"


So here we are at gate 206.
And you know, I certainly like to see new colours, but I prefer another equipment, originally scheduled was the Ilyushin 96. But trust me, I will try it again!


So we see VQ-BED "N.Pirogov" at the gate. The never ever scheduled A321. Leg no. 27 on type and at least a new entry to the log


In the air with Aeroflot since 06.11.2009, 26 planes on type are in the fleet. Any incidents to show?. No, not in Russia!


01.40 am, call it ontime, "Aeroflot" for 2.35 hours only, there is more expected, from the 3000 meters "Three-Five-Left" at 12 cloudy degrees leaving "İstanbul Atatürk Havalimanı".
Cockpit crew is from Russia, the "Kapitan" with a nice short welcome during boarding.
Routing is via Kharkiv, sounds interesting, isn´t it?. No flightlevel info.
And we experienced some violent shakers after departure.
Strange it feels at night on a new airline. We flew calm and jumped up and down from one second to the other, people crying and the very same followed three or four times within the next five minutes. Well, if crying helps, let´s do it!.
Further with a cabin view, well used blue leathers seats and acceptable legroom.
I´am at 31D, the last row aisle and also here all seats are taken. Two younger russian women, well, my russian is limited and they don´t speak english at all.
The load is very close to 100%, mostly russians, a couple of turkish looking like citizens and well, the sole extraterrestrian!


Cabin crew is one middle aged, biz friendly at it´s best male FA and four women. One elder, one middle aged, both ok and two really senior Baboushka´s, you know blonde silver hair, short and far from cute, well retro russian style at it´s best!.
Well signed to say the least


Ok there is also a place where you can catch the Ilyushin,
maybe just a little bit long over water, isn´t it?

And also these white stuff around is just good for a surprise, ok who expect snow in Russia?


Welcome to "Международный аэропорт Шереметьево Sheremetyevo International Airport", touchdown at the 3550 meters "Two-Five-Right". 15 minutes ahead to schedule is  6.35 am, snow, heavy snow and - 4 degrees.
It feels somewhat special to disembark the plane here on the snow covered all white tarmac, but you know, who expect´s snow in Russia!



Well, no Ilyushin, but I will try it again, trust me!.
