A no go by KL
Hello,
"A no go by KL", well, should that mean another solution?. Now, we will see!.
The routing:

Scheduled: 18.50 // 21.45
Actual: 19.45 // 22.25
Airside we are since 12.07.1996 with predecessor Swissair and nowadays
Swiss International Airlines
There are no special stories visible
But for sure, the stats:
Leg no. 1489 at all and no. 185 on the A320

Try to leave a wet and windy "Manchester Airport". Really?.
Well, the storm hit´s Northern England pretty hard. Lot´s of flights around the area and also here are cancelled. Much more distance between the planes means late or no slots. Originally booked was KLM Manchester-Amsterdam-Zurich, but as noticed the evening before, Amsterdam-Zurich was cancelled.
No contact with KL possible, overloaded. Later on Manchester-Amsterdam, too. There is a nonstop service by LX. At the airport early and rebooked to this one. Not possible to go airside later on due to no slot. Not sure if the flight is running at all. A good time to wait.
Finally late, but running for the "Flughafen Zürich", lucky me.

Shaky it was, true, but not as bad as expected.
Late, but finally out of Northern England, a very fast service due to the tailwind and soon thereafter at my destination.
Call it an interesting time airside!.
