#SPAIN #SwissEuropean #AvroRJ100 #ZRH
This trip is dedicated to the people living at the Principado de Asturias. So far away from the usual Spain!
The trip in one word:
UNCHARTED
"I should fly for northern Spain, better sooner than later!"
Buenos dias, good day, dear readers,
I don´t know why, but these January 2014 looks like just a little bit busy to me.
We started in direction east,
returned to the west.
Further southeastern style it was and also this time returned later for the west.
And now we should got to the west, the southwest en detail:
Thanx once more to:

What´s this with these convenient and not to expensive LX flights, bookable also on short notice?.
Well, it forced me to do this one again!.
Up at 06.00 am, the usual homeoffice work and on the way with the also usual early morning queues. That´s it and nothing else expected.
OLCI works well with the LX website 23 hours prior to departure and Opodo secured the four legs ticket with
the fare for this leg as acceptable as 45.00 Euro´s.
P0 it is for the car and he knows the way. The SSK it is for me and just by surprise it knows also the way, printed the missing paper in a second or two.
The screen shows me that the plane not even left ZRH right now but also shows nothing out of the ordinary for the outbound leg
Security is a breeze this time of the day, just me and an armada of agents at T2.
Up for the swift, something more this way?, lounge visit and down soon thereafter for an also swift gate visit. You know, always these late lounge guys, 162 it is, till the bus tour around the apron
Here we see HB-IYQ, also known as "Piz Buin", an Avro RJ100.
Leg no. 16 on type and new to the log it is
The 08.06.2001 is noted as the first flight with CityflyerExpress, changed later to BritishAirways CitiExpress and finally Swiss European.
20 planes on type are in the fleet and this is the newest example.
Here is a short story:
http://avherald.com/h?article=45d5a68b&opt=0
Cabin crew is two women, one middle aged, not that large and nice. The other one well, Deja-vu, isn´t it a nice point when a FA who see a thousand of pax along the week recognized you from the first view?. And well, me, too!. A supernice welcome from the very same middle aged, not that large, short ponytail, swiss woman like on the flight to ZRH last week.
With a good chat along the flight and further on.
And of we go from runway "Two-Five" leaving the "Flughafen Stuttgart", 25 minutes by "Euroswiss", 10.55 am and this is ontime.
2 degrees and snowy rain.
The "Pilot" is on the mike during taxi with a nice detailed welcome. No route info but low level cruising at just 13000 feet.
The legroom is ok here with the well used cabin
18A and two for me with the dark grey leather seats.
The load is 50%, biz and these others with various unidentified backgrounds, well mixed.
There is also a safety card here and a magazine, too
Now that´s warm welcomed, swiss water served with a smile and chocolate "As much as you like!"
The "Flughafen Zürich" it is, touchdown at the 3300 meters "One-Four".
11.30 am, 15 minutes ahead to schedule, zero degrees, cloudy and wet.
And just for any questions about you´re connecting flight. The Infodesk is staffed this time,
at least temporary, lucky me!.
ZRH, how I like this place and further on the way.
