Yes, this looks like an aiport
Bright and airy it is
This ticket is secured by Opodo.de as a one way only. The fare this way is 285.00 Euro´s.
OLCI worked well just by surprise and my seat is selected.
I need a paper, as usual and this is somewhat surreal, at
least for me.
There is an indian guy, is there something working without the indian guy´s here?, at the separate entrance for the counters, checking the papers and directed the pax to the desks.
No signs at all to notice about the flights. It´s my turn to walk around for the other side where there are two counters open. No pax to see at all. A middle aged male agent waved me in.
I try to explain that I only need a swift paper, but no success. He decided to go the whole way. Luggage?. No.
No luggage?. No.
My small bag on the scale and so it seems, he´s finally satisfied.
Asked if the seat, well, my OLCI selected seat, is ok?. It is
and printed the paper.
There are no queues at all, but the whole thing takes much more time than I like and therefore limited my time in the terminal. No time to use a lounge here.
Ah, yes, but I like to go for Frankfurt?
Maybe on this machine?
Or what about Iran Aseman and the classic Fokker?
Ok, as long as there is nothing else available I do this one
at gate 3!
It looks like really long this way, isn´t it?
And just a surprise to see the gate screen. It shows clearly
Geneva-Frankfurt, what is different to the original schedule, Frankfurt first, followed by Geneva?. Well, we will see!.
Anyway this is 9K-ANA, the A343 like on schedule.
New to the log and leg no. 10 on type.
"Warba" is in service since 29.03.1995 with KU. 4 planes on type are in the fleet with this as the first delivery.
Here are some stories with "Warba":

As simple as it is, follow the dromedary!
Strange point of view, isn´t it?
Ok, let´s go now
And as far as I see the pax around, this is certainly one more low load. 60% in the end with the majority arabian people
Cabin crew is a younger male FA with nice talking at the planes door during boarding. There is a nice middle aged asian woman and an also nice middle aged arabian male FA serving my seat.
Bye now for Kuwait and a couple of special airlines
What about my seat?. 32K and two for me. Blue green old school fabrics, well used and the legroom is good
Yes, oldfashioned it is!
But it works well in the end
A couple more people trickling in, no hurries, isn´t it?
Entertainment this way
Time now to leave "Kuwait International Airport
مطار الكويت الدولي". It´s 10.45 am what means ontime, nothing else expected, "Kuwaiti" for 5.05 hours ex runway "Three-Three-Right" at 24 degrees, sunny, no clouds to see at all
How to park you´re biz jet here
Well, not only you´re biz jet
The guy at the left hand seat, the "طيار", decided for the right way, marvellous views
Above the city
Worth the window, isn´t it?
And even an scenic curve to follow
For the Kuwait water towers
Bye now, finally
We hear something more from the front office inflight nice and detailed, clearing up the route issues, FRA first as expected.
Flightlevel is 38000 feet via Bagdad-along the Syrian border- Bucarest-Budapest-Vienna.
Iraqi views
The cabin and the menu card
En detail
Fish ok, better rice and veg´s for me!
And something more close to FRA
We certainly need a couple of holding circles till touchdown at the 4000 meters "Zero-Seven-Right". It´s 2.30 pm, 25 minutes ahead to schedule, nothing else expected of course!. 8 degrees and partly cloudy sky.
Bye now for the big bird
For sure a nice experience
And also today, there is a train to catch.
The ICE for Stuttgart main train station and further the last neverending miles on the S-bahn for the airport and the car. Always nice to see you again!.
Here are the conclusions:
1.)KLM Cityhopper STR-AMS: Comfy and calm to start the trip.
2.)KLM AMS-KWI: Really nice staff and a relaxed experience beside the drunk woman.
3.)Kuwait Airways KWI-FRA: Leaving Kuwait in style.
No, don´t ask me this question?.
It comes all by itself!.
And now?.
This engine, which reminds me of that?
For the part of the world where the mountains are really high and the valley´s so deep:
مع السلامة ,
mai alslama,
take care.
