Departure from A45, ok, with this one maybe?
Ahem, the weather is so much better here in Belgium. South/Middle/North, rain everywhere
This is D-ACND "Meersburg", the CR9 like on schedule.
Leg no. 21 on type and warm welcomed, new to the log.
In the air and around with Eurowings since 10.07.2009. 23 examples are in the fleet and here is a "Meersburg" story:
http://avherald.com/h?article=4378fbbf&opt=0
One by one running for the plane
Leaving the "Luchthaven Brussel-Nationaal" at 5.20 pm, 25 minutes late, 50 "Eurowings" minutes from the 3638 meters "Two-Five-Right", 7 degrees and fierce rain.
Cockpit crew is from Germany. The female "Pilotin" with a nice welcome and an delay apologize, weather related, ok during boarding.
She´s again to hear inflight with some expected turbulence and the seatbelt sign stays on for the whole duration but it was nothing special at all. No route or flightlevel info.
The cabin looks like modern.
15 A/C and two for me here
Just a couple of cabin impressions preparing myself for what I usually do after the pictures.
Bright grey leather seats, good legroom, clean it is
Cabin crew is two elder women, both nice.
The load is 70%, close to all biz looking like pax.
No, not this way!
The FA´s informed also during boarding that every pax should take it´s orginial seat. It´s a short flight and with the different fare classes they have a sheet with pax to serve a meal.
Well, movielike sceneries anyone?.
Half asleep I hear someone talking about a cheese or ham sandwich.
No, I´am on the el cheapo run, my fare is as low as 45.00 Euro´s, fixed by Opodo together with 2 legs on Swiss and the previous one by Brussels, that´s definitely not me.
No OLCI, no seat change possible by the way.
No boarding paper also at MAD, but nice talking with the middle aged gate lady here in BRU helps definitely.
She cannot change the seat, but she can block the seat beside me, well done.
And she also shows me the screen with the expected planes late arrival time, more well done.
Ok, you know, half asleep I hear the same question again.
Well, isn´t it better to open up you´re eyes and check what´s going on?.
Thats me, definitely, she asks me and no one else.
Cheese in this case, but are you sure?.
She doublechecked the list: That´s what you´ve booked.
Well, ok, accepted!
Inside, nice.
And much more nice when you don´t expect something like this.
Back to the nap and soon thereafter at the
"Flughafen Stuttgart".
Runway "Two-Five", 6.15 pm, 15 minutes late, 6 cloudy degrees but a least it´s dry here
Bye now to Eurowings, Germanwings or whatever wings
And on the bus for the terminal
Here are the conclusions:
1.)Privilege Style LIS-MAD: Comfy and calm as it should be.
2.)Brussels MAD-BRU: Smooth riding and an supershaky approach.
3.)Eurowings BRU-STR: What a nice service surprise.
Ready for a new adventure?.
Maybe on an real english, wait isn´t it scottish, Saab?:
Well, we will see!.
Adeus,
take care, FLIEGER67.

Down under for me now this way
The fare with this leg is 45.00 Euro´s secured by Opodo.
4 legs by 3 airlines on the confirmation.
OLCI doesn´t work with this strange kind of ticket.
Not the best thing with an intra security arrival and I don´t like to go out for the desks.
Well, nice service here like the last time.
The young woman at the gate can´t print a boarding pass, but called a colleague at the check-in desks to produce me the missing paper.
He should be here later to help her with the gate work.
And not that long thereafter my BP arrived the personal way, well done.
For Bruselas maybe from D66!
So, this is OO-SSR, the A319 like on schedule, names please!.
Leg no. 104 on type and new to the log it is.
A former Mexicana machine, in the air since 01.06.2010 and the latest plane from the 18 in the fleet.
And there is also a story to show here:
http://avherald.com/h?article=44c5f743&opt=0
No China for me today and no lounge used here, too
12.10 am, ontime, "B-Line" and me leaving the
"Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas" for 1.50 hours from the 3500 meters "One-Four-Left".
14 degrees, partly cloudy and windy it is.
Looks like good this way
"The Pilot" sounds more from England than really from Belgium, with a nice welcome during taxi in english only.
Once again in english only with weather details,
a storm front approaching Belgium but if nothing turns wrong we should be faster and reaching Brussels prior to the storm. Some turbulence is nevertheless expected during approach.
And once again exactly with the expected shakers on finals.
No route details at all.
The modern style cabin with the blue leather seats and it´s clean so far
The load is around 90%, biz and vacationeers well mixed.
Legroom is ok here at 23D, the last row, where the middle seat remains open and the window is taken
Cabin crew is all female, one senior and nice, one middle aged and nice, too.
And another one, middle aged, not that large, not that slim, well built to say it correct, ever smiling and really nice.
Well, I know some cool guys from Belgium, Nils, Marc?
Something to eat or drink?
The "Luchthaven Brussel-Nationaal" it is, after a short or maybe not that short nap and an heavy approach. Not sure if we or the storm was faster in the end
Touchdown at the 3638 meters "Two-Five-Right", 2.20 pm, ten minutes ahead to schedule, 7 degrees, cloudy and heavy rain.
Bye now for Brussels Airlines
No Alitalia for me, no, but the lounge, the SN Star lounge, yes
Made it to BRU. And the final leg?.
Well, we will see!.

Well, a short nights sleep at this nevertheless welcoming and nice place, the Tryp Lisboa Aeroporto Hotel.
For a first view out of the window, as expected blinded by the bright sun?.
No, it isn´t, but at least the rain is not that intense like yesterday evening.
Ok, it´s good to wear a jacket, also as a rain protection today and walk swiftly up for the terminal.
The ticket is fixed via Opodo and the seat is OLCI selected. The one-way fare is 70 Euro´s.
The necessary paper is swiftly collected, onwards for security, the priority line, ok there is close to no one else all around. It seems not the standard time with the people from Portugal to fly for somewhere else!.
Everything ok on the screen and a swift view for the Lisbon lounge short thereafter. Someone told me about not to forget the Nespresso machine!.
For the gate, the screen shows nothing special at 08A and a bus ride later we are here
Target reached!.
This is the Embraer 145 like on schedule.
EC-KSS, I see a name on my pictures, "Trives", not sure yet.
In the air with Cirrus from Germany, Lagun Air, Air Europa and finally Privilege Style. It´s the one and only Embraer 145 in the fleet.
Leg no. 12 on type and a new entry to the log without any stories to show here
Something to fly in style
The one up there knows how to do the job and the rain stopped just good for a couple of more pictures
Finally boarded
07.30 am, short after schedule "Privilege" is ready to leave the "Aeroporto da Portela" for 1.00 hour from the 3805 meters runway "Two-One". Wet and windy it is at 16 degrees.
The last row rule works perfectly this morning.
The load is around 60%, mostly biz people and I´am in row 19 with all three seats for me
No, I like to fly in style, not in Europa!
Well, that fit´s
Sorry, no chance, also for any kind of celebrities, someone told me that the seat beside me in the last row is blocked anytime!
The offers while the rain started again
Me and the engine
Now that´s a point of view for some more pictures!
Cockpit crew is from Espagna, so it seems.
"El Comandante" with a "Buen vuelo", that´s fairly enough during this time of the day, isn´t it?.
No route or flightlevel info.
Taxi where to?. Never been this way, on the runway
and further
Cabin crew is one woman, middle aged, blonde, well built and nice. Service is BOB.
Up for the blue
The engine looks like also good up there
Legroom is good here with the dark blue oldfashioned well used leather seats and the cabin is clean so far
The "Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas" it is, touchdown at the 4100 meters "One-Four-Right". 09.45 am, short after schedule, 11 degrees, windy and partly cloudy.
Well, the weather is not that really better at MAD
But good enough for some more pictures
This way
Ok, ok, I should enter the bus right now
And after a very short turnaround the "K(I)SS" is on the way again!
MAD?. Never been here before. Never ever!.
